Social sciences involves the scientific study and understanding of the economy, human society and social relationships across the spectrum of human life. Social scientists are interested in understanding the ways in which both internal and external processes influence and shapes our lives and development.
The key intention of the curriculum is to give an understanding of how to function effectively in the real world; to understand why we behave as we do and how to communicate and work with others in wider society.
